Don't Believe The Truth
"You talk about that question (of pressure) but that shouldn't be asked now because I think I've proved that. What you should ask is who is posing the question? Not an intelligent person, that's for sure.
"It's someone who's sitting with his tracksuit on, his devil dug at his side and a can of Kestrel in his hand, maybe coked up to his eyeballs, shouting down the phone.
"I'm not answering to that. I'm not answering a question from Mr Ned."
Oor Gordon, describes the scene at the Radio Clyde and Real Radio studios, 6pm weeknights, wonder what these leeches will find to talk aboot tonight as there is no Celtic corpse to feast on?
Is Hugh Keevins no Mr Ned?

I have managed to not to listen to the phone ins (except for one call on Saturday) :-/
Are they the domain of the great unwashed?
Incidently my shower isn`t working just now. :-(
What is WGS on? If his team was playing great footbnall and entertaining then fine blast away, however there are certain frailties apparent with our team and to be honest this is nothing new. He used to say the same at Cov in the press and to the fans, his comments often going down like a lead balloon.
Don't get me wrong - He's totally right with most of what he says, however when put into context with other utterances attributed to him, it paints a picture of him, believing that only those who have played the game professionally have the right to commenmt on the game.
That doesn't work as to be fair, neither Wenger or Mourhinio played the game at a high level (even professional) and both have been more successful than him as a boss.
Gazza played the game at the highest level, as did Chris Waddle but neithers' opinions hold as much credence upon the game as say someone like Patrick Barclay or the McIlvanney bros.
To Sat, watched the game in O'Briens in the Saltmarket where I was thought of as a 'Posh Bhoy' by some of the regulars. Weird in Rugby I am often thought of as a yob and I go to my Dad's old stomping ground and all of a sudden I'm posh? Why because I have all my own teeth? Enjoyed it though - greta Guinness compared to some of the rubbish that is served up down South.
We were worthy winners although we got a bit of extra icing with the last 2 goals. I'm happy though. Bit concerned when Latapy sprinted away from Donati and Donati had to pull him back, lucky he wasn't booked as he could easily have been hooked for 2 yellows. I don't think he is as quick as we hoped for, though his range of passing is great.
Yesterday, took the girls to Paradise to see the ground. The first team came back from training as soon as we arrived. Most of the team ran like hell from the small group of fans outside hoping for an autograph. Not going to name names but a couple were dodging the fans so quickly in their rush to be home for Sunday dinner.
Naka though - what a gent, posed for a pic with all the kids there, ignoring the call to come inside from his interpretor, picking up one small kid who fell up the steps rushing to see him. The pic, I have of him with my two girls is going to be blown up pretty soon, to go above the new fireplace.
The man is a real star.
Nice story with a happy ending, Baldymeister. :-)
A bit wet for the pipers.:-(
I think this quote is brillant from GS..it sums up the people who they let on these programs..not all mind you.
Don't think his comments are aim at a jose or a arsene..more the press and some fans- including me- who comment on the game without every being in a dressing room in their lives.
Agree..if his team were playing well this widnae keep on cropping up.
Posh boy eh? i've been in o'briens, last time MrsG was refused drink as she looked underage..ha ha she was 23..i told her it was because she didnae look like she was touting for business:-)
