Afternoon on a very busy final day of the Summer Transfer window.
Everything written comes with the usual E-Tims line of 'It's all made up nonsense'
So far today the rumours I have seen are:
Deeks and Cash (Not Johnny) to Hibs - in return we get Mr. Murphy
Dela Bona (Unsure regarding the spelling - seen it spelt a few ways today) from Napoli to us or TFOD.
Maloney apparently seen on a BMI plane from Brum landing in Glesga last night, however he is at Aston Celtic training this morning (so my Villa colleague is tellimg me). As much as I'd love it to happen - I doubt it
Similarly Gudjohnson seen at Prestwick last night - blah blah blah. Doubt it
Bobo to Aston Celtic, Fulham or Derby.
Kenny to Fulham, Derby or Espanyol on a season long loan??
Fletcher from Man Yoo for £4m?????? I doubt it.
Elvis to Gretna or ICT
Jiri to EPL or Russia - one serious enquiry so far from him, no names mentioned.
As usual, many punters on the various blogs and msg boards are all claiming to have the 'inside' knowledge. Me - none. Nada.

Additionally Beeb is officially saying that fee has been agreed between us and Derby for KM.

No new signings but consider the reserve strength at Celtic Park. There is still a lot of players there. No excuses.

Quinn (St. Johnstone) & Reid (Stirling Albion) on loan and Marc Nolan is released.
Disappointed that there is no cover or competition for Naylor. He's our only left back, not particularly on form and apart from Artur, Mick and Naka the only guaranteed starter in our First XI. There should have been cover for him and considering in at least three matches this year he has been the recipient of heavy challenges that have required treatment from the trainer, I feel we are particularly at risk here.
We have had the opportunity to bring in cover, won't accept excuses if we end up on a sore one with this decision.
Will try and do a match report tomorrow evening, but it will be a late post as I'm off to a party as soon as the match ends.

When the window shut i was disappointed that no cover was brought in, was also not suprised to hear the story concerning KM, GS and the SSM.
I haven't researched anything yet but is the story true about the maloney and other deals falling through due to SSM not splashing the cash?

We should have brought in full back cover, up front i can handle, ma thoughts on KM were well documented and £3m for a player we got on a bosman and failed us last year, well....i would have driven him to Derby myself.
At least deek goes up the pecking order.
I think these transfer windows prove that those in the know that populate message boards know nothing...at least we here don't true and peddle rubbish rumours.
