Sound Familiar?
I have been reading the extracts from Graeme Le Saux autobiog in The Times this week. While it's quite interesting to hear his take the sexual slurs which followed him up and down the wing this bit caught my eye.
"Ray Harford had replaced Kenny Dalglish as manager and there was an edge between the players. Groups started to form. Tim Sherwood, Batts, Chris Sutton and Mike Newell – the stronger characters – got away with things that would not have happened under Kenny and started to break the unity of the team"
Why is it no surprise that Celtic Legend Chris Sutton was part of that group?

Sutty knew how to look after himself and he put a certain team in their place!
Ian- that's why i put Celtic legend....the man was a legend, underrated even the king o kings will admit he was his best ever partner....no matter his faults...but are they faults all part of the character that made the man the man
correct sutton was a legend.
i will always remember that header v ajax wot a goal that was and his chip in the last minute to complete the clean sweep over the huns.
his goal celebration was brilliant too when he used to run to the crowd then stop and thrust his right fist forward.
he was an arrogant big b but i loved that and he did put them in their place.
