Stats Entertainment....
Today, bloggers and The Evening Times pointed oot Celtic's poor away record wie regards of not keeping a clean sheet away from home. After his wee trip to the SFA, oor manager answered them in what i would term "Classic Strachan"
"We have won two titles, one of which was won with six weeks to go, the other with four weeks to go, we've won two cups and reached the Champions League (knock-out stages) for the first time ever.
"I do believe that the object of the game is to score more than your opponents.
"At this point in my first season we had scored 17 goals, the next season 12 and this season 24.
"Against us in my first season, we had eight, then five in the second season and now we have six against and if you take Artur's howlers it would have been four.
"We are on the 16-point mark, the same as the first two seasons.
"So I quite like my stats and my facts."
While i wouldnae mind a nice wee clean sheet tomorrow night, some clean sheets in the league and most definitely in Europe and if at the end of the season we are just as successful as in the last two years then even, if we continue to lose goals away from home it won't matter one jot. I agree wie GS, fitba is aboot scoring more goals than the opposition..but sometimes a little help from oor defence widnae go amiss!!!
We have a chance to bury the ghost of Easter Road, quickly, tomorrow night. Wie it looking like there will be minimal changes, only enforced ones, if the manager is to be believed, then the much maligned players will get the chance to redeem themselves.
As has been said, losing to Shakter and gifting Hibs 3 points is no disgrace, playing a nearly full team and losing against Dundee is.

It would be fine to win that one! Burying ghosts is a thing to do.
:-)
Ian- if we are in the hat for the next round after a 5-4 victory then it's job done....
No idea what Dundee are worth these days -- however, this is their cup final (jings, crivvens).
That said, we should win comfortably -- I would like to see Killen & McDonald up front. Also I would like to see a good few quality crosses coming in from Deeks and AMcG and the full backs (do we have any?).
This should be a chance to get back on track, 8-2 would do me.
Don't care much about clean sheets.
I remember the Brazilians used to win 4-2, 5-3 and stuff. Now it's 1-0 and somehow no' quite the same.
Six-unsure if Killen will play, played 90 this afternoon for the reserves and the BBC is stating that Aiden is injured...
Funny you should say that aboot Brazil i'm watching Liverpool v Reading...and was quite happy to turn it over to watch River City...
I remember Liverpool used to be decent to watch...
Come on the Bhoys!!!!!
How bad was that?
Fair play to Dundee they ran us ragged - but, c'mon, we have got problems.
At this minute, I'm not feeling too good about Kaka & Co coming to town.
And why no subs used tonight? Some of our players tonight were poor and could have been hooked - it's a long month (and season) ahead.
It wasn`t great but it should have been a better score. The ref was shocking, he gave Dundee fouls at every turn and gave Celtic a minimum. The assistants got about Celtic 4 offsides wrong, including one where McDonald was wrestled to the ground. Boruc was consistently jostled and I can`t blame him for the goal. It wasn`t pretty but the Bhoys are in the hat tomorrow.
i counted at least seven that could have got hooked at anytime...
yes we have problems, maybe...but it was a no win situation...and as Ian said job done...just...
