Understatement Of The Year

Suppose you could file this one under "Walker's Gaffes". I understand that Radio pundits, even ones as bad as Walker- i think Walker is not to bad-, Keevins and DJ, need to be seen as impartial, ahem, or realistic but sometimes i wish they would be just god damn honest.

Andy was asked where he thought the weak areas in the Scotland line up against the French were- now most honest men would have said at least 6 areas- and Andy stated that the scouser at full back Jay McEveley was a weak link.

His reasoning?

"I saw McEveley struggle against Mikoliunas and I THINK Ribery and Malouda are better players than him"

Master of the understated oor Andy Eh?

Weak areas?
I think the back four had better offer more than the sum of the parts. It depends on France, if they play then the SFA XI will find it hard but the Parisian crowd are not always kind to the home team.
Fletcher is a good player and he knows how important he is to the team but he works too hard. Some fault! :-)
I`ll have the Eng v Rus game on TV and may listen to the radio. Is that multi tasking?

Half time in international land. England better than Russia where it counts while David Begg is excelling himself tonight. Willie Miller thinks that it would help France if they actually shot for goal. Controversial stuff! :-0
Beware of the wide areas!
