Another Terrible Man In Black....

A guid referee isn't noticed during a game. A guid performance from the "man in black" is one where you don't remember him being on the pitch. We must just be unlucky up here that wie balloons like Birnes, Clark, McDonald and now Mr Brian Winter officiating oor games that invisible ref's won't be possible.

This clip of
The winning goal sums up Mr Winters performance and mindset. His instance on man handling the Hoops players after the goal, then his fat little school master grab, then the way brandishes the yellow card- for celebrating in front of yer own fans- tells you all you need to know aboot what kind of ref he is or wants to be.

Mr Winters added to the sort of amateur game, doon the public park atmosphere of yesterday and i have seen better officiating from drunk Sunday League officials. His build alluded to the fact that he liked a pie and his officiating was as bloated.

Apart from that, the winning goal clip...pay attention to the Gretna's player reaction when he realises that he has played Skippy on.....priceless...at least their was something amusing to come oot of yesterdays 90mins.

Forza

Oh here is Chris Killen's goal..watched the game again..maybe i was a bit hard on the big man, his goal was well took.

"Thou shall not celebrate a goal whilst wearing a Celtic jersey."
one of the MIB's 10 commandments, written in stone.

Maybe the Gretna player was trying to outdo scumbagD:
"Where's the stretcher? where's the icepack? ... erm, where's McHendry?".

Funny thing is...after Winters "performance" i really do think the fact he couldnae chop the goal off was a factor in his reaction.....

I could watch the Gretna's players reaction over and over again...if that was the olde Arsenal team Tony Adams still would have ran oot wie his hand in the air....claiming offside....

His reaction was like Charlie Sheen in a paddy field in platoon....priceless...

On the other hand, maybe his reaction was pretty naïve but he must be a right honest bloke.

Not many of us left
:o)

Anyway, hope Aberdeen get the luck of the draw today - boost our coeff a wee bit.

Notice the huns are pulling away from us in the rankings - Artemedia effect starting to take effect.

Forget about the Dons helping us out!
Might have been a wee bit different if the Spanish or Greeks had to go to Pittidrie on freezing cauld Thursday nights in November, but for the Russians and Danes it will be what they're used to.

Still, you never know they could snatcha result here or there.
At the end of the day their results could give us a true measure of the SPL.

Celtic v Hearts not on the season ticket. Not very fair when we are in the midst of the CL but I suppose Hearts have to get their share.

Six- sorry for the late reply..ISP problems at home now resolved...

UEFA rankings, problem is Artmedia, as you say and also the fact that the h*ns have beat diddy teams in the UEFA for the last few seasons. It all helps...maybe a UEFA cup run after finishing thrid is no bad thing this season.

Zander Diamonds reaction to the result where he was heard to say "for feck sake man" in front of the assembled press says all you need to know aboot the sheepies draw!!!!

Ian £15 is not to bad for the chance to beat the jambos?
