Celtic 2 Meelan 1
Does that mean, in tartan army logic, we are champions of Europe? Nah, it disnny matter, that wee gloat this morning has been blown oot of the water- the language is not going to be family friendly for the next couple of hundred words so if offended, sorry- due to a wee bawbag scrote who thinks running on the park is game for a laugh.
On a night when we should be celebrating top trumping oor nee'bours, and getting one of the greatist results in oor history, instead we are going have to discuss a fanny, a c*nt, an arse of a wee boy who should get dragged doon the Gallowgate by his baws, the living daylights booted oot of him then castrated wie a blunt butchers knife.
Annoyed? Too right, was going too write this last night but decided to calm doon. Sorry i huvnae. No matter Dida's part, the FACT is the scrote shouldnae have been there and we must take the punishment and if UEFA decided to go on the side of the establishment club, no matter what AC say then we can lose the points. We are a wee fish in a big pond.
We now have to wait a few days to see what happens. It will be a long few days but there was a game of fitba, which we won, however fortunate.
Truth? Well, i canny really tell you what i feel aboot the performance as that arsewipe action has left a bitter taste in ma mouth. The high of Skippy scoring the winner lasted a few minutes until i found oot what had happened. Rapid Vienna went through oor collective minds i'm sure.
I have never felt so deflated after a European victory in ma life. The final whistle went and i left no celebration no acknowledgement of a "battling" but albeit technically poor Celtic performance, which lacked balance between defence and attack.
It's no surprise that we scored directly and indirectly from corners as we were toothless all night and never looked like scoring from open play. Either did they mind you, but you always got the impression that they were like a great white shark playing wie a colony of seal pups just waiting to strike, which in the five minutes after we scored they showed.
Oor victory just proved the importance of set plays at this level and Naka's part in the goal proved his worth as i said in the preview.
The fact the we won the game, a game against the European champions and a game that oor hopes of at least finishing third were rekindled is a second thought this morning. A wee look at the front pages of the papers this morning and a glance at newsnow show that is not the talking point.
A wee boy wie nae brains has put paid to that, he has feed us to the lions and disgraced every single one of us wie an allegiance to Celtic. Oor reputation has been damaged but the repercussions could be more serious than dented pride.....
Forza

Lads...more review later i have a ton of stuff to get through..i will clam doon later...
Too work....
I heard a grown man at Bellgrove station say, ` Neds are part of the culture`. I think he was quite proud of that. I`m sure I`ve seen him before, smoking on the train, trying to avoid paying the fare. A grown man.
If UEFA reversed the score, I would feel sorry for the Bhoys on the park and the boss but I wouldn`t get too upset. Victory to the common good. :-) Of course the CL is not about common good if money is at stake.
All that joy taken off myself and Mrs. Baldy by the actions of a Fud.
Decided that the best thing was to take the whole family round to Senior Baldy's and watch the game, everyone celebrating in the living room then we see the replays of the idiot.
Mrs.Baldy's birthday plans in hyperdrive and everything was going rosy until the idiot.
Brother Evil Rhum rang me - totally gutted. All he can think about is Rapid Vienna. What will WAFFA do to make an example of us? We know that they will cane us, rather than do the other teams such as Inter who hold too much political sway.
The pub in London where he was watching the game - eerily quiet. We're all thinking the same.
The moron should be hounded wherever he goes. Sorry, jumping on the Daily Excess pedestal here, but constantly I hear talk about how such morons need help, guidance and understanding when they ruin things for others. Sorry he needs a slapdown and to be made an example of.
No doubt he will be banned from Paradise, however I want him outed in the press, so wherever he goes, he is recognised in the streets of the UK or Ireland as that idiot. Go live in Siberia, Tool! His life should be made so uncomfortable that it acts as a deterrant for the next idiot who drags our club's name through the dirt. Sympathy - not much from me this morning to him.
The 'slap' he gave Dida, who should be very embarrassed BTW (thankfully the Milan Officials appear to be embarrassed by his reaction too this morning), should be returned to him by every Celtic fan who was in the ground or watching on the TV last night.
Onto the team! Excellent. Well done WGS. Well done Mhick, Skippy and the others. Brilliant! Heroes the lot of them.
After the furore has died down over the idiot, I am going to celebrate hard this weekend when it isn't a school night.
hailhail
"Far Right" Baldy
Hard to get to sleep last night, not due to elations as it should have been but just replaying over and over the "incident" or "attack" or however you want to class it.
Went to work the morning not walking on air as it should have been but feeling as tho' I had shit on the sole of my shoe.
The neds and peabrains just keep dragging us down, don't they.
However, reading the sports press in France this morning puts a better perspective on it (for me anyway, and put me in a betterframe of mind). The main thing mentioned is the result - the other thing is just a embarrassment, not only for us but also for scumbagdida (see extract from L'Equipe at bottom - ignore it if you don't know French).
By all accounts, we will get a hefty fine and that's it. The 3pts are in the bag.
But, does anybody know (not looking for excuses here, just wondering) given that it is UEFA who takes over Celtic Park for 3 or 4 days, is it that usual stewarding/security that goes on? Surely they must be involved in that side?
at the end of the day, we won fair and square on the park against the CL champions, that's what we've got to keep mind.
Well done wee Gordy and the Bhoys and the 59,999 fans last night!!!
Hey! I can understand French! I think. :-)
The article is a Gallic shrug in words. :-)

Been emailed that 'apparently' the guy is heading up to CP this afternoon to hand himself in to Ronnie Hawthorne. Police been called to arrest him on the spot and prevent a 'lynching' from some fellas also heading up there in hope to meet him.
Spoilsport rozzers!!
I doubt that he would be so stupid as to head to CP this afternoon, personally. Any meeting between us and him would have to take place some way from the ground to prevent mpore hassle for the club.
Baldymeister! :-)
Right
My Bro has been hard at work surfing the European 'Timternet'but unfortunately his google account appears goosed.
However he's sent me this link from some Italian website. Italian calcio website
Plus this little snippett from the World Tig Championships
" DIDA OUT OF WTC!!!
AC Milan keeper Dida was tonight ruled out of the World Tig Championships following a horror injury sustained at Celtic Park Glasgow. Dida who was in the running for the top spot in the WTC was struck down by a gifted unknown from Glasgow. The amatuer tig player cornered Dida between two posts and a net and managed to tig him and shout "You're it" before making a clean get away. Dida attempted to tig him back but was unable to catch the nimble soap dodger. Dida was so humiliated at being caught by a "rank" outsider that he collapsed in a total cream puff and had to be carried from the field greeting for his mammy."
test test test
Baldy can you hear me???
hello out there?
ah good so it works.
right - well into the action.
The biggest question of today is not who the fella is who gubbed DiddyDida, but it is rather more important than that.
I have witnessed these past few hours one of the most shocking challenges I have witnessed. Anyone hear thinking I'm talking about Pirlo's daft boot on Broon or Kaka straight-legging whoever it was....not right today bhoys.
The question remains as to who the usless galloot (is that a word?) was who decided to attempt to chop down young Scott McDonald was?
I'd refer you all, in true lawyer style, to exhibit A (well it's my only exhibit here so just run with it).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pE9m9jEar5w&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eantimilan%2Eit%2F
Now you should all ignore the performances front of screen and concentrate on the celebrating players. You'll witness the young Mr McDonald running along the byeline and a multitude of players sprinting towards him.
Then disaster so very nearly strikes.
Some clown decides to use this celebration as a cover for a treachorous deed. If you witness the players running right to left across your screen unless you're baldy where his runs left to right as he's designed that way.......and you will witness one player attempt a tackle on young McDonald.
Luckily Mr McDonald avoids contact and having seen the clown coming leaps out of his way leaving the hapless assault attempter to slide harmlessly into the hoardings of Brother Dallas' Memorial Coin Fountain Corner.
If you know this man, call crimestoppers and shop him. You know it is your civic duty to do so.
Sleep soundly..and don't have nightmares.
Anyway you'll all be delighted to know that DiddyDida will indeed be fit for Meeelan's trip to SS Nazio on sunday.
There is no news yet on the Twins' injuries yet. the twins being Jean Perrier and Joel Doumbe..they look far too alike - it's unnantural...
And in case you thought we'd all got terribly serious on the huddleboard today, you need't fear. wisdom teeth extraction hurts like hell, somebody's found some torrents and missing the game due to an mouth ulcer is just utterly girly (although as you can imgine the words used onthe huddlebaord may differ slightly from those here)
CM are probably in smiley central as usual and wondering where MinceCFC gets his powers from.
So the first and quite possible last missal from the huddleboard might well have ended here.
night night folks.
Cheers Bro for the Crimestoppers Report.
Any ideas?
JJP-Diddy has unfortunately ruptured his achillies, so will miss a few weeks at least in my amateurish medical opinion.
So Gary Caldwell at RB for a few weeks at least, but I hope the opportunity is used to give Caddis a few run outs as well, even if only for a few mins at a time, just so we have some cover in the worse, worse case possible scenario.
The 'Fhan' has handed himself in at a local Police Station, been arrested and made himself known to the SSM. Immediate lifeban duly imposed. Identity understandably not announced.
Off to study Youtube and watch the footy on five.
Toodlepip
the culprit has finally been outed as mr gary of caldwell.
that's a nightmare for the twins. could be a long long stretch on the sidelines for him.
as you say, looks like the worst tackler in the world at rb for the foreseeable future, so a wee run out for caddis would be well receieved in this corner of north london.
nothing new of interest from the Hb except that Robert, 27 has identified himself and even had the gallus to ask the evening times if he'd be paid for his little interview.
DDPD - if it's a rupture, we're talking months not weeks I reckon.
What's the Telfmeister doing these days?
Any other news re: injuries (Donati?).
As for the fhan, life ban is too good for the numpty. But just as well he gave scumbag-D a caress and no' a Glasgow kiss - he would've needed the ice pack then.
Watching Aberdeen, leading 1-0 at half time. Billy Dodds said that with so many young heads they will be looking for old shoulders. :-0
Lots to talk aboot, i have posted ma new view on the "incident" i also must say to Evil whit a post...welcome
So the 27 year old man has handed himself in...ban from CP and an appearance at the SC tomorrow..i agree he should be outed..he should be reconised wherever he goes.
Gary Caldwell...will need to watch that later...but at the game i was worried why he was going on the overlap in the 89th min not in a Celtic full back rulebook that Mr Caldwell.....
Mr Caldwell will get a shift for a few months at RB but agree Caddis needs blooded starting wie Fir Park on Sunday..
I'm glad others felt as doon as me after the final whistle i'm just now begining to enjoy the result..the dust is settling..the size of the result is kicking in...
will try and post match reaction later..away to play fives...
och..Mrsg just told me she never managed to get Verve tickets...
Still ooooooo scotty mcdonald...
