LOTW Diary- Reserves v R*ngers

When the reserves run out at Broadwood today to play the mini h*ns the line could point to the future of a few players who are on the fringes of the 1st team and it could also be an indication of the strength of team GS will select for tomorrow nights game against the cousins of h*ns, which is sure to attract a bumper crowd.

Then again it may not. Wie the squad down to the preverbal bare bones we should expect a young side to take the field at Broadwood, wie the normal 1st team benchwarmers of Rioirdon, Sno, Jaro, O’Brien and O’Dea donning their Nike trackies for another exciting night on the bench on Wednesday.

Whether, after bemoaning the number of games we have played, oor manager trusts any of them to get a starting berth, remember Dundee away though Gordon, remains to be seen.

The thought of Sno on a cauld East End night may just lower the attendance even more....

Forza.

Update

Strong line up’s from both the teams. Elvis, Bobo, O’Dea and Rioirdon all got 90mins under their belts, which deems Deek’s involvement tomorrow evening irrelevant. Interesting that Jim O’Brien was nowhere to be seen, right back slot tomorrow evening?, and the words “Bobo Balde goalscorer” have been uttered this side of the autumn.

Here’s Pravda's review.

Horses for courses, I think that Sno is a very useful player in the squad. I`m sure that he wouldn`t let anyone down tomorrow. I think that there may be a couple of changes to the team. Killie away is THE big one. :-)I still want to beat Hearts but no extra time please, midweek games leave me a bit too tired and I`m starting to dread them!

Apologies last thread

NovoNed - absolutely everything I hate about them. Just because you know fine well against us he is trying that little bit extra.

Have wished many a time that one of our more 'defensive' minded players would tackle the guy right back to Spain. Fairly - obviously. But if i thought I could get away with it for just a booking I would kick him hard - no worries.

In fact, I am now smiling at the thought of using him as a tackle bag in eggchasing training.

Naka`s left knee is injured again and Donati is a signing target of A C Milan. :-(
From the Evening Times website today. Oh yes JVoH has been training for the past two days.

Just catching up with the G14 story.

The 18(?)clubs of the G14 soon to become 40, with the Good Guys in and the Blues Meanies oot.

Don't know much about the G14 but surely there can be no harm in being part of an organisation that can seriously give big vikkies to the likes of UEFA and FIFA.

The most tangible bonus, of course, would be the sight of the Taigs in the fast lane overtaking Murray's establishment crew.
They will be considered for admission when they stop wearing candy striped ties and broon shoes, and G14 membership expands to 1690.

C'mon the Tic ramorra night!
The treble is still on (quadruple is in the balance, methinks).

I'm unsure aboot joining a group where the motto of Gordon Grecco is the mantra...no not lunch is for wimps but greed is good.

Now, while it would be funny to be invited and the h*ns being knocked back at the door like shellsuited Ned trying to get into tiger tiger...i think the only reason we are being invited is due not to what we do on the park but what we bring of it.

7 to 8000 travelling fans some of the best nights in Europe and not a hint, a Robert McHendry incident aside, of trouble.

Will it help us get better tv deals, more money relaxation of the work permit laws?

All it will do is put us in a decent position if change happens.

for me, it feels like getting into bed wie a corrupt politician....but the benefits are there...just don't expect me to shout from the rooftops when the membership drops through the door, unlike some blogs will...
