Aberdeen v Celtic FT 1-5

Celtic finally playing the way we want - 10 goals in 2 games, 2 away games at that.

Some Aiden magic setup Skippy for 4-0 (and the wee man's 23rd of the season).

After that Langfield was performing miracles to keep the wave after wave of Celtic attacks at bay.

Credit to Aberdeen they never gave up and managed to scramble a goal after a stramash in front of Artur.

Then, incredibly, Aiden was booked for an inoculous foul - what is wrong with the MIB in Scotland?

Barry Robson lived the fairy tale: just on for Naka, he scored with his first touch as a Celtic player - beautifully struck free kick with the left peg (75min).

Sammy (on for Skippy) and Killen (on for Jan) both got a run out. Interesting to see that we didn't want to keep it tight and sit on the result.

MOTM: Aiden. You just want to see him on the ball all the time!

Celtic seem to be coming good at the right time - we have class and options all over the park.
Alarm bells will be ringing out in Scotland (and maybe a wee bit further afield as well ?).

Tuxedoes are the favoured gear for the Celts - we'll leave Emperor Murray with his own choice of new clothes.

I hope the pom poms where shaking at that performance.....

Just wandered, or should that be staggered..yes.MrsG confirmed that it is staggered... in from the pub.did Donati get injured in the warm up?

If so PH produced a cracking performance, dig, bite and composure...first five mins was the first time in AGGGEEEESSSSS that i saw two crunching "get in there" tackles from oor two central midfielders..well done PH and Broony...

It showed we were UP FOR IT....

Two weeks five goals- meaself i think it's sixtaesevens match reports that are the cause, nuthin worse than a hoopy in paris scorned- decent from midfield to front performances.

"Aiden McGeady..Aiden McGeady" fantastic his turn for the fourth was worth the £2.45 for the carling....

Don't think i have ever seen a hoops player score wie his first ever touch.....well done the Ginja Naka...

defence i'll let them away wie it as we look like scoring for fun...

Coming good at the right time????

Story...hun in the pub me and faitherg were watching it in- it is oor local- went of his rocker at us singing the soldiers song- at the game not in the pub....i said are you worried wee man...

answer "fecking too right, youse are a team"....

Away to bed...it's good to be a tim today...

Missed the match - at a Christening.

Saw Aiden's turn and cross for Skippy's header - wow!

Will watch the highlights tonight but looks good - just wish the clean sheets were being kept at the back. Glad that Hartley played well - good for Barca in mind IMO.

Sat - Egg chasing.

Scotland look slow and ponderous in the loose compared to the Welsh. Have to wonder why they are playing as if they are wearing lead jerseys. Like the Irish first half performance, I have to wonder if the players are pumping so much iron in the week, that they are actually too tired to play effectively come the weekend.
Irish first half display was poor,. second hald they had a bit of fire in their bellies. Feel big Malcolm O'Kelly is finished as an effective international now.

Still As long as both beat the Saxons I will be happy.

Hail hail

I haven`t looked at the report but I am concened about the defence. Some work is needed. Mackie had two good chances in the first half he should have scored with one of them. The highlights are now on the BBC site. (for UK only)
The Herald guy Broadfoot was on the radio and he seemed to be quite fair.

I`m going to send my friend Stevie a wee text message. He is not an Aiden fan although he did admit that the team missed him against the Marnocks at home. He`s the guy who calls Aideninho a `one trick pony`. At least he has one. :-) Stevie isn`t impressed by Donati either. :-/
Gioca con forza, Massimo!

Read the Herald report, rag really is becoming a “Tabsheet” or a “Broadloid”, I like the way the “reporter” starts wie a mention of “Unspectacular Huns”…like a badge of honour.

Same tonight on Radio Snide, I canny remember us getting the “unspectacular” badge of honour earlier in the season or even as recent as two weeks ago after fawkirk. Lucky barstewards we were bemoaned as…

But “That’s why we are paranoid…” as the song goes.

The “pen”….now what happens if we lose the league by one goal? The ref’s so-called charity will get called into question then…….

If you do the trick but you’ve not got anything at the end of it, it’s just a trick. So to be able to do that makes you a top player.”

The manager hits Aidens improvement this year on the heid....but that turn was unbeleivable....

Hard it being called showboating...don't think so...showboating is taking the pish...that was not taking the pish, that was gaining a few yards to set up a chance....

showboating is being disrespectful- ala a ruskie hun against ayr utd many moons ago.....- to the oppenent....
