Aberdeen v Celtic Preamble

Big Jock used to say that you put your working togs on for the everyday tasks and keep your tuxedo for the big events.

Well today's game falls into that first category, where sleeves will be rolled up and a fair amount of sweat and snotters will be needed to come away with the spoils at, what always is, a difficult away venue.

That will be the focus for today: 3 points.

Is there extra pressure about the current gap at the top of the SPL?
Well, in the CL qualifiers, we had no points on the board after the first 3 matches. But Celtic were professional enough not to let the focus wander, storming into second place when a lot of people had us buried.

So this team knows about pressure: when the heat is on, we provide the necessary volume to our game.

Hopefully the old gear will go in the washing machine tonight after a good job done: we'll look out the good suit for the trip to Catalonia in 10 days time.

Not altogether happy with seeming to be a cheer leader but what can you say? Come on the Celts!
Forza

Ian - you not happy in the role of pom pom bhoy ?
:o)

Team below from official site, surprised that Robson isn't starting. But at least it's a strong starting line-up.
Expect to see Sammy on for Skippy at some point.

CELTIC (4-4-2)
Boruc;
Hinkel, Caldwell, McManus, Naylor;
McGeady, S Brown, Donati, Nakamura;
Vennegoor of Hesselink, McDonald.

Subs: M Brown, Robson, O’Dea, Sno, Killen, Caddis.

Official site wrong (surprise surprise):
Paul Hartley replaces Massimo Donati. I reckon, Sammy on the bench.
