Celtic v Hearts Preamble
Back to Paradise tomorrow with a spring in our step, when the dreaded Marroon Meanies come calling.
We've managed to drop 2 from 6 against them this season, and they have also papped us out of the cissy cup.
So the signs are flashing "Danger"... especially when a certain Velicka has proved he can damage us at home.
Every game is a must win for us at the moment - full points is vital to keep the pressure on Real Govan. They will be on a definite high with the news that McCurry will once again be ready to play a decisive finger-licking role for them against KFC on Sunday.
A decent Tic performance would be a bonus. But if the Bhoys come thru unscathed with the 3pts that will be enough for me.
Don't care much about clean sheets myself, but an improved defensive display would be welcome before Barca come calling. Even Artur looked a bit dodgy last week.
Some might say the Hearts game is more important than Barca.
We need to win the league --why?-- to get into the CL.
We play Barca in the CL so surely it's more important than Hearts?
At the end of the day, every game is important, each game has its own context.
One thing I do know is that we won't be playing 4-1-4-1 tomorrow or Wednesday.
We are better than that - we are the Celtic!!!
Starting lineup could look like this:
-----------Artur
Andy--Mick--Caldwell--Naylor
Naka--Brown--Robson--Aiden
----Skippy---------Jan
Expect to see Sammy getting a run out - maybe Caddis as well.
Might get a touch of Sno or Hartley depending on how it's going.

Dov`e`(Where is?) Donati?
I think that he will play. I saw a little of what Peter Martin wrote in the ET and he said that Rangers players have confided that they have no worries about playing against nostra(our) Massimo. However until the 65th minute (+/- 3)he usually passes the ball fairly well. I was pleased to hear that Paul Hartley did well last week but I have to admit that he has iritated me more than anyone in recent matches at Celtic Park. Play Robson? Could be a good move against a team that likes to leave it`s foot in for that extra sly kick.
All three battling for one place?
That`s why Gordon Strachan is paid so much!
:-)
Forza

Think Donati has mair chance of coming for Hartley than the Ginja Naka.

Have a good day Kevin, I hope your team wins. :-)
Come on the Bhoys!
After I posted "ma" lineup last night, I just noticed that I had forgotten all about Donati...
Just shows you the choice we've got at the moment - can't be a bad thing.
Wee Gord's team for today will be interesting...
Just looking ahead for a minute, can anybody remind me about who is eligible to play against Barca: Andy (no?), Robson (yes?), Sammy (yes?).
I think Skoosh is suspended (anybody else).
yes sixtae, you are right andy is cup tied and skoosh suspended.
robson, sammy and mizuno all available.
i think it will be same 11 as last week today.
haha kev, celtic tv on bsb. i used to watch that on a sunday in the newmarket when i was up at my ex birds.
1997/98 season it would have been, 19 i was, ah those were the days eh.
i wouldn't have known he was on it.
i think we will continue our recent excellant form today.
i'm betting 5-0 and mcdonald but maybe im just dreaming or still drunk from last nite.
Hail Hail.
Young Paul Caddis misses the match today due to a family bereavement. He must be in the running for Wednesday`s match.
