Celtic v Dundee United - Premable

Must win as usual tonight. Although 3pts would put us just one behind, it doesn't change much in the overall scheme of things (I don't count on them dropping points to anybody but us).

One of the parameters that enters into the equation for tonight's game is that the DUF club, sitting 4th in the SPL, have the Cissy cup final to contend with on Saturday.
So will Levein decide to rest a few or at least tak ethe foot off the pedal to avoid risking injury.
We'll see but I wouldn't count on it...

More to the point is how are we going to approach this game - one of the few games we get to play at Celtic Park these days. How good it would be to get a couple of early goals, a chance to settle down and play some decent fitba.
We'll see but I wouldn't count on it...

The team I would like to see for tonight?
.................Boruc..................
..Hinkel ..O'Dea..McManus ..Naylor..
..Nakamura.. Sno ...Brown... McGeady..
......Samaras....... Hesselink.......
We'll see but I wouldn't count on it...

Both Sixtae and I reckoned on Sno and hartley for midfield on Sunday before Kevin came in with the `tin hat` comment. (An accurate comment as it happens). Tonight you have Brown for Hartley. It will be interesting, that`s for sure.
I hope that this wind calms down!
Come on the Celts!

Ooops! I didn`t see O`Dea sneaking in there. I think that Caldwell will be there. :-)
Come on the Bhoys!

I forgot about Robson as well - could be a good shout against his former team mates.

Windy in Glasgow, is it? Ach well, a least they'll be playing on a decent pitch tonight.

Put the info on CQN and one of the thought police (no blog info) wrote that I shouldn`t be listening to Clyde. :-)

We are all allowed on vice in this life....could be worse you could listen to Real Radio.

I did say though i thought Sno and Zico played but were a bit shabby tactically.

Tonight, going against youse again, I reckon Hartley and Broony will get the nod.

Don't fancy seeing Sno as the sitting midfielder somehow.

Would be interesting though seeing Sno and Broony, combined age of 42, together but would GS risk it against a team who are on a half decent run of form?

Weather conditions?- wet and windy in Stirling just now...be thankful the game is not at Fir Park.

Forza

Great blog, really informative piece on Dundee United, if your watching a game why not stay in one of the many Dundee United hotels.
