Celtic Training Day: LOTW Day Oot!!!!

Was asked on Saturday if I wanted to go along to the training day. Ma pal said it would be ok as he would "borrow" his wee nephew so we didnae look daft turning up wieoot a wean. Sounded like a plan to me as, really, me and him are big weans.

So arrived at CP at 9:45am. Place was bedlam. Yellow and orange coated stewards not having a clue what they were doing, queues snaking roond the car park and not enough turnstiles open to get the fans in. I reckon maybe between 7 and 8 thousand were present ( Seville calculator must have been oot as Celtic Tv has just said 15,000) and why the bottom tier wissny opened sooner I will never know.

But......the weans had fun. One little chap decided when the ba's were getting laid oot that was his Q to run on and score in the Celtic end, Arfur and Lenny were the court jesters, The weasel still canny cross a ba' even when he has all the time in the world, JVOH lay doon and got a suntan and Joe Doumbe has the best Afro in the East End. Joe The Fro from now on.

It all ended wie a kiddie pitch invasion.........
Notable absentees: Scott Brown, Paul Hartley, JVOH (was there but didnae train), Deek Riordon.
Men that we forgot: Elvis, Evander Sno and Joe Doumbe.
Questioned raised after today: How small is Koki Mizuno?
Also, yes it has been proven. Neil Lennon is a glorified waterbhoy........

Nice one! A training day with good weather! I`m pleased that it went well. Pity the stewards, wearing those coats in the heat! Pity Hoopy! :-0
Well done Kevin, takes your mind off the next game. Yeh sure! :-)

Ah'm sure she's better than Elvis (erm, fitba' we're talking here).

What's this about Huns gettin the Cup Final moved? Just a rumour or WTF?!?

If true, we should pull out of that crap next year.

Ian: I’m if the “rumors” aboot the guy that plays Hoopy are true he would have been fine maaaaaannnnnnnn………

It was a guid laugh if nothing else. Saw Mo Donati score two peaches……

Six: After that photo was taking a very large wean (supersized) was swinging from the crossbar, I half expected it to collapse. The nets got brought doon after a few kids got tangled up in them….

I did wonder why THEY WERE trying to wreck the goals…..it’s oor goals…..

Matt: One reason I don’t have a bebo site or any social networking shit. The fact she calls us the manky mob sticks in the throat. I’m sure there is a joke aboot something in her throat in there somewhere…..

But I can’t comment on that or her after hours activities…..

Lhads: No post match session this week as the training day happened. Is that ok?

Lot happening today.....

HA HA HA HA

Back in the fold? Derek Riordan played for the reserves and scored the winner against Falkirk today. I think that they play again on Thursday.
The Celtic Ladies are playing Aberdeen in the cup semi final tonight. I don`t know if the afore mentioned lady is playing. :-)
Still focused on the Bhoys!

Would you say that Ballack had as good a first season with Chelsea as Donati with Celtic?

It's kinda hard to make any sense of what's been happening these last couple of days (since the huns dropped points).
Either they are really worried or they are chancing it. In any case, they seem to be taking it hard.

I would like to think they are getting their excuses in early, but I have my doubts. They are not as bad as we make out and they could just notch up 6pts in their 2 home games before meeting Zenit.

It's hardly a demanding schedule, for all their wailing and nashing of teeth.
Far too often I've seen the likes of Motherwell and DUnt play like tigers against us then go into "wee lamb" mode when they go to Ipox.

I just hope our bhoys will stay focussed and professional enough to win our two games. The crowd will be really geed up for Saturday, so that will be a big bonus. But a worrying thing for me is that we never seem to get any urgency into our play until we fall behind. A couple of early goals would be perfect, but no doubt we will be put thru the emotional wringer once again.

It will probably go to the wire, and you can be sure that on the last day DUnt will play like tigers against us, whether they have something to play for or not.

PS
It will be interesting to see if MarkMcG will play Bob the Builder tomorrow. Just cannae imagine Mr FTP going full tilt to test the Banjo Boy's glass ankle...

It was obivious, for me, that Ballack was a Ambramovich signing and "The Special One" wisnny too chuffed in playing him.

Now, wie a puppet in charge Ballack gets a game, in his favoured position and is playing well.

Donati, oor manager signed him and I reckon he will follow the manager oot the door.

Six: Here, even the English based radio stations have jumped on the help the gers bandwagon.

Thing is...not one of the pundits have come up wie a solution. In fact one pundit- we will call him Bill Leckie-said this evening that he saw no problem wie 2 Rangers games being played after the cup final.

You should have the talksport pundits laugh at him.

I agree, while I understand their bleating, I don't think there program is that bad. Get on wie it.

But.....how come I get a feeling if we beat Hibs we will probably win the league wieoot kicking a ball and before the last game...

they are also 8 games wieoot a win....they are as bad as we make oot!!!!

Six,
I would be surprised if they drop anything at home. I was surprised that they drew with Hibs. All I was hoping for was a chance going into the last game and the Celts will have that if they can beat Hibs.
Easier said than done but not impossible!
Come on the Bhoys!

Oh, Bob the Bigot.....not bothered Dingus team will be up for it hopefully.....but.....

Dingus did say that he had written of the games against us and them and it was more important to beat Aberdeen.

Just thinking, Sunday will be my last game of the season and it`s probably had as much if not more enjoyable moments than last year. When, despite winning the double most Celtic supporters were as miserable as a big miserable thing!
Let that be a lesson. :-)

sixtaeseven said...

Ian, the enjoyable moments might not be finished yet!

If all goes well they could be much more enjoyable than last year - imagine the hun dropped from
their "zenith", like a falling star.

Burley is on the sauce again, shurely?

Has he already forgotten he was royally shafted by the huns when he selected his last squad?
OF Five (aye right).

SFA - rotten to the core.
