Celts v Hibs - Preamble
With today's games decided (well, one of them was pre-decided), our focus turns turns to Hibs tomorrow and another must-win game for the Champions.
The cold facts show us one point ahead of the Hun with two games to play (Hibs and DUnt away).
They have 3 games to play, all away ( Motherwell, St Mirren and Aberdeen).
The cold facts are that, Hibs are the only team that can catch Motherwell in third place, so they will be desperate to win tomorrow. If they lose, the 3 teams that the Hun still have to play will be already thinking of their holidays.
Ironically, after today's "events", DUnt will be really up for their game against us - they are feeling peeved against the "Old Firm" !!!
In other words, you couldn't envisage a better run-in for the Hun...
But, as I say, focus on tomorrow.
Anything but a win for us tomorrow and our season ends stone cold.
Everybody (coaches, players and fans) have their role to play: one of our fabled "Champions League" atmospheres is required.
I'm hoping to see this line-up, although there are doubts whether Mick has recovered
(if not I would rather see O'Dea than Bobo).
.................Artur....................
Hinkel...Caldwell........Mick........Wilson
Nakamura... Robson...Hartley...McGeady....
......Jan............Skippy...
We have a strong bench, and I expect to see Sammy and Skoosh get a run out.
To any of you lucky enough to be going to the game, get right behind the Bhoys and know that there are 10s of thousands worldwide just like me who will be kicking every ball and encouraging the team as if we were there.
Go for it Celtic - we will win this one, we will win it fair and square !!!

In the previous thread, I made a wee joke about what Gordon Smith might say about our MIBs:
"We've got the best referees that money can buy".
In fact, it's actually worse and more perverse, cos as we saw today they don't need any encouragement.
Just ask Craig Levein. Here is part of his reaction (real quotes this time) after their defeat against the Hun that finished United's hopes of finishing third in the SPL and clinching a Uefa Cup spot for next season.
"I thought Mike McCurry had the balls to stand up and give these decisions, but he bottled it," Levein said.
"Not only is it a penalty kick, but it's a sending off for Davie Weir. But he didn't want to do it because this game meant so much to Rangers."
Levein said he asked the referee what was the point of his players turning up if they were to be the victims of such decisions.
"If it's not a level playing field and, if we don't get the decisions, blatant, important decisions then what is the point of turning up?" he said.
"Anybody who is of a fair mind watching that today would see that we had no chance of winning that.
"We get a perfectly good goal chalked off and a blatant penalty, with not even a decision to make, and it should've been a sending off."
This is where the Old Firm thing comes in. Tomorrow we will get less than nothing from the ref. It`s just as well we are Celtic and well used to this. Forza!
Come on the Celts!
From previous thread.
Ian: I was talking to a hun today and I said the exact same thing regarding oor hame form. It will cost us in the end. After watching the last 20 mins of their game…I do get the feeling it’s a lost cause.
Yes, we are aggressive and thay has been doon to the tempo from the middle of the park. Was talking to ma wee cousins bhoy today, he is just getting into all things Celtic. His Fav player? Barry Robson.
Todays game: Agent McCurry come in yer time is up and job is done.
Stonewall pen, goal chop off that shouldnae have been and Coosans should have been sent off for a worse heidbutt than he done in Italy.
As has been said, the game was pre-decided. I completely agree wie Levien. I saw him at the time saying to McCurry, “Just blow for time up, it’s a waste of time, just give them the points”.
Also, after the goal got chopped off it was a good 4 mins before the game restarted then he only added 3 mins injury time.
Interesting you mentioned the Ol* F*rm thing Ian. Right away on santa Tv they mentioned us getting the rub of the green last week and against der hun. They were almost laughing aboot it.
So can you tell me the last time 3 MAJOR decisions went oor way in a game that we had to win?
The decisions were that bad even Scott Booth, Derek Johnstone, Jim Traynor and Darryl King couldnae back it.
Shocking
Tomorrow we have to win looks like Naylor will get reprieve cos Andy Hinkle has a knock so Willo will get the RB slot.
Todays events mean if we win tomorrow, holiday mode will kick in and yes we will play a team wie a chip on their shoulder.
We can only hope that The Well players and the Sheep have professional pride.
We need to get behind the team tomorrow, I just hope if an early goal doesn’t come the beasts dinny turn.
How did PSG get on?
PSG drew with Saint-Etienne (1-1), but main relegation buddies Lens and Toulouse slip up. All goes to final day.
Lyon will probably clinch 7-in-a-row next week as well.
Still shocked at today's events - it's not usually so blatant.
Perversely, we could be the ones to suffer - cos the ref tomorrow won't want to give us anything to show that the refs are not for favoring the "OF".
It's like bloody "CATCH 22".
Just hope we can rise above all this, with a decent display of fitba' and 3points.
Craig Levein tells it like it is...
Watch it before it all gets swept under the carpet for the good of Scottish football.
Lest we forget, Vinaloo McCurry was ably assisted yesterday by Stuball Macauley.
The best linesmen that money can buy...
"It's all aboot r*ngers" repeat 100 times and you get the jist of the most truthful interview in the history of the Scottish game.
Brillant.
But.....I bet Hibs get a pen today.
That linesman vid. He should be not allowed to grace the mud fields of Sctland again.
Think I mair annoyed aboot that this morning.
Also THE FACT that he admitted he chop the "goal" of wrongly then him and McCurry decided to chop it of for something else!!!!!
Mon The Hoops
The last home game of the season. Please send us home happy Celtic.
Come on the Bhoys!
