I�m sure don the Couper Angus hotel he is the talk of the bothey along wie the hot topics of dodgy ref�s- no mention of linesmen chopping of guid goals though or allowing offside goals- the daily r*nger hotline and the latest tup prices.

There's been a few times I have been gutted after a Scotland match, a few times absolutely steamboats (like the guy in the picture), and a few times I have been absolutely over the moon.
On one occasion, I went into mourning with the rest of the country when the greatest man in Scottish fitba gave his life for the cause.

I wasn't expecting a win on Saturday, but at the end I was disappointed not to have held on for a draw.
I thought the referee was poor, but that wasn't the reason we lost. Sloppy defending (have a look at the two goals) against one of the best teams in the world saw to that.

Still, I enjoyed the match, and hope this Scotland team continue to compete at that level.

Yes, I have had the rabbit in the headlights look after games as well…but I do find it amazing that there is always one that gets found.

It just shows you the game has an emotional pull most wifes would die for if their hubbies felt like that towards them:-)

The Ref was poor but agree he had nuthin to do wie the result…the loss to Georgia was the result that killed us.

I enjoy the Scotland games now, it’s a guid get together wie ma mates that I don’t go to the hoops wie, but I hate the lack of hoops news and games. In fact I’m sure when the next friendly comes round I will hate internationals even more.; 19 November 2007 at 20:55

Okay the assistants let him down but the players knew that they had a certain leeway to tackle and they enjoyed their match. On Sky we had Davie Provan saying that Broonaldinho should have been booked for a tackle that Zambrotta handled fine. We had Gattuso getting up from a challenge where his sock disappeared and smiling. To say that the ref was poor is just being lazy.:-)
Did I not tell you that the TA get away with things that club fans don`t? A letter writer in the Metro agrees. That`s it then, proved!

reg that kenwyn jones, i was shocked when sunderland paid £5m for him but whenever i have seen him this season i don't think he has lost a ball in the air.
