Kilmarnock v Celtic FT 1-5
Better performance in the second half, and the signs are we are getting back on track, with 4 more goals to savour:
- Cauldwell powered header for number two (52min) after flick on by Donati from Naka's corner.
- Jan skelped number 3 (58min) afte Aiden won the ball in his own half and lays it into his path, which finished the game as a contest.
- Kilmarnock got consolation (66min) but immediately Celtic got another from Skippy.
- Sammy came on for Skippy for the last 20min
and scored a cracking individual goal against a tiring Killie defense.
MOTM: Young Caddis for his overall play: gave a better balance to the team.
Time for Donati to up his game tho' or he could be spending a lot of time on the bench in coming weeks.
Celtic picked up 4 bookings (to Killie's 2) which shows they were determined to put themselves about a bit more (and also that our old "fiend" Brines was doing his bit).
Welcome to Celtic, Sammy but what's with the Orange boots ?!?

Always thought that Bobby Petta wasn`t good enough to play in fancy boots but Samaras carried it off today.
The ref was annoying but he is a loony!
Well done Bhoys! A home draw in the quarter final is always welcome.
Nice summing up Six! Keep up the good work. :-)
Very happy with yesterday, Caddis was excellent.
Still feel at times we are soft in the middle but yesterday was good overall.
Samaras was very different to what I expected. At City he was used predominantly as a target man, definately not his game. You have to wonder what the heck Pearce was doing with him then.
Aberdeen in the next round away
Aberdeen in the next round away?
Well at least we're in it and we know who we're playing
:o)
Are the huns starting to crack at the seams? Certainly smells like it...
How are the SFA going to help them out of their backlog of fixtures?
Ach, we'll just sit back and watch the fun...
Dire stuff from Scotland today.
Find it hard enough to sit thru it without having to read "Sir Minty's Wet Dream" on the shirts.
Dire stuff indeed !
Egg chasing has been poor all weekend, at least Wales made me smile last night.
Rugby Town centre was V quiet last night for some reason.
Today they were like rabbits caught in the headlights and throw away a goldon opportunity to turn the french over.
Not at all impressed with the majority of them and to be honest the leadership from White and Hynes up front and Parkes (especially) in the back line was poor.
yesterday in Dublin was little better to be honest.
I only saw a little of the rugby but the French didn`t think that it was easy and they admitted to having luck. The Scots were bemoaning the number of errors. Of course I`m not bothered. :-)
Hoping that the players get back safely for Sunday.
Forza
I'm back, catching up on EVERYTHING...vennegor broadband now working...much like the bigman himself.....
