Celtic V DU - FT 0-0
Disappointing - 2 points dropped at home.
It wasn't for the want of trying, but too many poor passes and a lack of composure told in the end.
We had enough chances to win this game, but there is a distinct over-reliance on Aiden or Naka to do something. There is nothing much coming from the midfield, with Scott Brown poor again.
Skippy is off the boil as well.
DU to be honest were well organized and played well.
If they play like that on Sunday they could do the business.
Not much consolation there for us.
We are making it hard for ourselves - might be just too hard now...

For the first time I’m scunnered, for the first time I’m wondering- and feeling- like that is it. We have gift wrapped the main prize, fired a big blue bow on the fecker and posted it to Govan.
Nae imagination, nae craft nae guile and nae baws to take control of the game when we needed. We are trying to win a league, tonight we gave the distinct impression of a team doing oor best to chuck it away.
GS, PROVED, again, that he husnae got a plan B when his players dinny bail him oot.
Yes, we had chances, yes, DU done feck all the whole game- Sunday will either be the worst CF in history or they will get hammered, I fecking hate Craig Levein and his solid boring boring sides, unimaginative plodders who should be getting a shooing from US not get plaudits for being crap, I mean for fecks sake it was lee wilkie, lee wilkie widnae get a game at ma fives, like Andy Mullen before him he is another talentless CB that has left CP wie a point and JJ at the start of the season…..it’s not guid enough.
Skippy, Broony, Naka and Aiden were all shite. They don’t play we don’t play.
We need to be ruthless, we need to show that we wanted it, tonight we didnae and I’m reminded of Teams 2 terrible performances.
Sixtaeseven- agree completely poor choices, poor passes and lack of composure…..
We could end this month 9 points behind….something that looks on the cairds…..
For the first time I’m hoping the game at FP is off on Saturday as I’m bloody scunnered…hurting and bemused.
If you don’t take the chances you don’t win games, we didnae deserve feck all tonight and that’s what we got….i should just accept that as we got what we deserved….it’s all oor ain fault
It’s just bloody hard at the moment….
Long night ahead.
Rant over normal positive service will be resumed tomorrow.
Really disappointed, it wasn`t as if Dundee United were playing well. Still the team have scraped through a few matches and karma always pops up to keep us in balance. That draw stopped a winning sequence in the league that had seen 8 wins in a row. Of course the problem is that we are back to where we were when we left Celtic Park after drawing with Hibs before Christmas.

Just gutted - was stopped writing a complete rant last night by Mrs Baldy - probably for the best.
Trying to find a silver lining:
- it's still in our hands
- we have an easier run-in till the end of the season and have less games
- the huns will implode at some point
- we are not as bad as we think: we done enough to deserve the points last night, but it's the sort of result that can happen to any team trying to play football against 4-5-1 formation.
Also I don't think Aiden played that badly last night - he was definitely over-used - to the point we became predictable - and towards the end he was absolutely knackered.
Crossing was poor all night and must improve - a few culprits there, Naka included - especially if we play both Sammy and Jan - which I think we should do.
Skoosh needs to learn to channel his energy and start being productive for the team.
I hope the game is ON on Saturday - if we can't beat Motherwell, we'll just forget it.
But we will !!!
It`s always hard to take but we`ll be there supporting the team in the next game. My mate was telling me that he wasn`t going next Tuesday as we walked down the Gallowgate after the game. By the time we had reached Fielden Street I had convinced him that this is when his support is needed most. :-)
Keep the Faith
Come on the Bhoys!

Anyone think that Scottish football is getting more defensive, or do these teams only defend like that against the Celts?
KTF
The problem is wee ginger, an average manager wie an average plan wieoot a clue how to out fox packed defenses.
He has been fortunante that his
players have bailed him oot time and time again.
But, no point in moaning aboot it, I want him to leave as Championship
winning manager so i'm hoping the players improve and keep on bailing him oot until the end of the season.

You are probably right, we probably weren't that bad and di deserve 3 points but for me we never created anything of any substance and in this situation everything is being magnified..
Oor final ba' was terrible, bad decision making the whole night in the final third...
